soft rain light

The rain falls light this Tuesday night, thank God those dogs don’t bark!

'Cause barking dogs ruin soft rain nights, their torment, I do hark

But owners of those dogs that bark, are really my true foes

They’d sooner let those poor dogs bark, than calm their frantic woes

I peer through windows late at night, at owners of those dogs

And plot to burn them in their beds, like witches boiling frogs

The lights go out and off to sleep, the owners of dogs go

When they awake with sheets alight, I laugh, a horror show.
