As the wind kisses my children

It’s windy as fuck, the sky is exploding

With all of hell's fury, the clouds are imploding

Lighting bolts crash and trees thrash about

The sky is electric, the earth is in rout

Birds huddle close and the dogs are all shivering

Adults seek shelter, the children are quivering

The first tree goes down with a thunderous roar

The neighbour's roof gone and destroyed the front door

Our front windows smash as a branch crashes in

It’s just like a bomb has exploded within

Now the wind howls, through our makeshift cave

Lurching for children to put in a grave

There’s nowhere to run, it's too late to hide

The wind’s screaming through, outside is inside

The children are shrieking but no words come out

As the second tree falls, they're all dead, without doubt
